Every project starts with a conversation. We take the time to fully understand your situation, budget, goals, ambitions, timeline, and expectations — so that everything that follows is built on a clear and shared foundation.


From there, we're with you every step of the way. We make sure your goals and requirements are clearly communicated to and understood by your design team, general contractor, and other stakeholders. We review documents, drawings, and reports so that every decision you face comes with a full picture of the options, trade-offs, and consequences. We attend meetings on your behalf or alongside you — whichever works best.


Resilience and sustainability aren't afterthoughts for us. We integrate them from the very start of the design process, protecting the long-term functionality and value of your investment.


This service is sometimes also referred to as Program or Project Management or Client Advisory. 

In some cases, we can also provide agency construction management. 


We can step in at any stage and for any duration — whether to support, assist, or fully take the reins on the owner's role until your project is delivered as you envisioned.

Sustainability and resiliency consulting is available as part of our owner's representation service or as a stand-alone engagement — whatever fits your project best.


We work with owners, developers, contractors, architects, and/or engineers to take a holistic view of sustainability, resiliency, and energy efficiency across any or all phases of a project, from early planning through design to occupancy. And we always keep an eye on the economics.


Our approach? KISS — Keep It Simple, Stupid. We prioritize passive measures first, using location, orientation, function, design, and usage patterns to reduce energy and resource consumption before introducing active intelligent systems or renewable energy solutions. Smart design beats expensive add-ons every time.


Krifcon has hands-on experience delivering LEED administration and consulting for projects across North America, Europe, and Asia, and we assist clients in achieving EU Green Building status for projects within the European Union.

Sometimes you need boots on the ground in a market where you don't have a local presence. That's where we come in.


For projects in North America or Scandinavia, Krifcon offers staff augmentation services — acting as your company's representative on the ground, in your name. We attend meetings and presentations on your behalf, keep you informed, and make sure your interests are front and center. The scope and level of involvement are agreed upfront, so there are no surprises.


This can be as focused or as broad as you need. Staff augmentation services can extend to project management, business development representation, professional partner identification, merger and acquisition support, and all the way to full-time embedded representation.


Technical Due Diligence

Krifcon provides Technical Due Diligence (TDD) in connection with real estate transactions — giving you a clear, independent picture of what you're getting into before you commit.


Location Consulting

Looking for the right location in North America or Scandinavia? We help clients identify and evaluate their options — whether that's scouting available land for a greenfield project, identifying existing buildings for refurbishment, or assessing sites where demolition and redevelopment may be the best path forward. The goal is simple: find the location that best fits your vision, needs, and investment criteria.

Krifcon is based in New York City, but offers its services worldwide. We work or have worked with projects in the U.S., Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Japan, and Nicaragua.


We generally charge by the hour for our consulting services. However, some projects can occasionally be quoted at a fixed price. We often recommend to new clients that they consider this per-project option during an evaluation phase. Clients also use our hourly support when they need immediate assistance.
