Krifcon was founded in 2010 by Flemming J. Kristensen with a clear purpose: to bring a smarter, more personal approach to project consulting — one where clients get genuine expertise, not just a service catalog.

Today, Krifcon is a boutique consulting firm specializing in Owner's Representation, Program and Project Management, Sustainability and Resiliency integration, Location Consulting, and Staff Augmentation services. We work across a wide range of project types — office buildings, industrial facilities, mixed-use and residential buildings, exhibition and convention centers, civic, cultural, and educational buildings — from early planning through new construction and refurbishment.

Flemming brings over 30 years of experience across Europe and North America, having held executive, managerial, and consulting engineering positions throughout his career in the construction industry. Before founding Krifcon, he led the North American subsidiary of an international multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm.

His areas of expertise include client advisory and owner's representation, program and project management, design management, capital cost budgeting and monitoring, resiliency and sustainability integration, energy efficiency and optimization, resource conservation, indoor environmental quality, and peer review and audits.

Flemming holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and an MBA from the University of Colorado Denver. He is a licensed professional engineer in multiple U.S. states, a member of ASHRAE and IDA, and holds accreditations as LEED AP BD+C from the USGBC and EUR ING from FEANI.
