Krifcon Inc. is a forward-thinking boutique consulting firm, established by Flemming J. Kristensen in 2010. Specializing in Client Advisory/Owner's Representation, Program/Project Management, Location Consulting, and Man-on-the-ground services, Krifcon offers a modern approach to project management and sustainability integration.
Kristensen's extensive expertise encompasses Client advisory services/Owner’s representation, Program and Project management, Design management, Resiliency and Sustainability integration, Energy efficiency, Resource conservation, Energy optimization of buildings and systems, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Peer Review/Audits, forming the cornerstone of Krifcon's offerings.
Our services extend to a diverse range of projects, including office buildings, industrial facilities, exhibition and convention centers, mixed-use buildings, residential buildings, civic and cultural buildings, and educational buildings, covering all aspects from planning to development, new construction, and refurbishment.
With over 30 years of experience in Europe and North America, Kristensen has held executive, managerial, and consulting engineer positions within the construction industry. Prior to founding Krifcon, he led the North American subsidiary of an international 500+ person multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm.
Kristensen holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and an MBA from the University of Colorado Denver. He is also a licensed professional engineer in multiple states, a member of ASHRAE and IDA, accredited as LEED AP BD+C by USGBC, and as EUR ING by FEANI.
